VICE PRESIDENT – BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:
Overall responsibility for establishing and coordinating all marketing and sales strategies, plans, programs and functions.  Position will be home based selling into US and Canadian Centers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • To expand contact center and related business services through targeted prospects with sales from new and existing clients with a focus on average inbound/outbound program sales in the 10 to 50+ seat range.
  • To conduct business development at 80% with sales and marketing administration at 20%.
  • In collaboration with the President, mutually agree on qualified client targets for prospecting and selling efforts prior to commencing such efforts.
  • To adhere to Company pricing and quantity guidelines, company policies and procedure, behavior and ethics standards, best practices, reporting protocols, and other related corporate operating standards as an Inspyre Employee.
  • To provide recommendations for improving or adding new business development strategies.
  • Maintains relationships with existing and potential Clients.
  • Oversees and verifies reporting of sales and marketing activities, including leads generated and tracking reports, sales orders received sales by program, backlog reports and customer lists as directed by the President.
  • To develop sales plans, action programs, and target forecasting in collaboration with the President.
  • To review sales activity and results weekly with the President, as appropriate and as needed.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
Directly accountable to the President and the board of directors through the President for the performance of all responsibilities related to business development.  Provides reports or briefings on company business development activities as requested by the President and the board of directors. Will work collaboratively with other members of Inspyre’s executive team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A college degree is required with a major in business or marketing preferred. Previous experience in the Contact Center Industry is preferred. Require a minimum of 3-5 years of successful Contact Center sales experience, negotiating contracts, and maintaining/developing the relationship with the client once the program has launched. Good communication skills and the ability to work well with people are essential.  Good leadership skills are beneficial. Familiarity with all aspects of Business Development is required.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Customer Service Representatives may provide inbound and/or outbound calling to our clients’ customers. Services provided may include inbound customer service, sales, satisfaction surveys, and appointment scheduling.
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum 1 – 2 years Customer Service Experience
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Outgoing personality (customer service skills)
  • Clear and precise enunciation and pronunciation
  • Strong written and verbal communication in English
  • Active listening skills
  • Excellent spelling and grammar skills
  • Excellent computer skills – 35 wpm with 90% accuracy with ability to multitask
  • Excellent attendance record is mandatory
  • Good retention skills/very detail oriented
  • Accepts constructive feedback and implements recommended changes
  • Reliable, Easily Trained and Self Motivated
  • Team Player and able to work in a fast paced environment
