The Lung Association Manitoba
Breath of Spring Tulip Days Campaign
Spring 2009, 2010, and 2011
For the past 3 years, employees at INSPYRE Solutions Inc. have purchased bunches of tulips with proceeds used to fund programs and research for Manitobans with breathing difficulties. Employees can choose to donate their tulip bunches to hospitalized lung patients or have them delivered to the office.

Live Red Fundraising Event
February 2009 and 2010
Live Red” fundraisers are activities organized, managed and executed by members of the community to raise funds and awareness in support of the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Manitoba. The INSPYRE Solutions Inc. Employee Social Committee held a “Live Red” fundraiser in February of 2009 and 2010, raising funds by selling paper hearts (supplied by the HSFM) where employees would make special mention of co-workers and post them around the office; having a Pizza / Veggies; selling Bingo Tickets for a game played throughout the day; having a draw for a Lottery Tree; and selling microwave popcorn as a healthy snack. In 2009, INSPYRE’s employees raised $675.25 for the HSFM and in 2010 INSPYRE’s employee raised $461.25.

The Heart & Stroke Foundation of Manitoba
Workplace Physical Activity Challenge
January/February 2010
The INSPYRE Solutions Inc. Employee Social Committee held a Workplace Physical Activity Challenge to promote cardiovascular health leading up to the 2010 Live Red fundraising event. Six teams of employees signed up to count their steps taken by wearing a pedometer for a four-week period. They participated in daily nutritional challenges as well where, if complete, they would accumulate bonus steps. Each week, the steps taken by each team were tallied and posted for “bragging rights”. All participants received a certificate, and the winning team was honored at the Live Red event.

The Christmas Cheer Board – Feed-A-Family Hampers – December 2009
The Christmas Cheer Board Feed-A-Family program involves making and delivering a hamper to a needy family provided by The Christmas Cheer Board. INSPYRE Solutions Inc. made and delivered 8 hampers to needy families this year. Each campaign at Inspyre was assigned a family of proportionate size to the number of agents on the campaign to put together their hampers. A volunteer agent from each campaign was selected to assist in the delivery of the hampers and see the smiling faces of the Children who may not have received any Christmas gifts or had a balanced meal that year.

The Winnipeg Humane Society
Paws for the Cause Fundraising Event
June 2009
Two members of the Inspyre Solutions Inc. Employee Social Committee signed up for the Paws in Motion, which is The Winnipeg Humane Society’s largest event and fundraiser of the year. INSPYRE held a fundraising / donation event asking for donations of much needed items for the WHS and had a Pizza day to raise over $200.
